Tofu Man

Say hello to Tofu Man. Isn't he adorable? He's this really squishy, super-soft pillow that I bought. There's a little soy bean attached to his front corner, so I'm assuming that he's supposed to represent tofu, but honestly, I have no idea. He frightens Zach. How could anything this cute be scary?

Hi El!! Tofu Man, what a wonderful creature. How about I found him on my grocery shelf, brought him home and sauteed him up for dinner last night. Tell Zach not to be scared any longer, his sister ate the Tofu Man. LOL

Love you guys!!!

Tofu man is too cute. Love reading about and seeing what goes on in another part of the world. Can't wait to see what you find in the knitting and crochet world of Japan.

Uh, OK I was totally down with the Hello Kitty table leg covers, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to draw the line with Tofu Man. He is deeply disturbing.

He's hilarious! If space is already an issue, though, you might want to stick with the vending-machine toys.

Tofu Man does have a rather disarming smile, but I can see how Zach might be disturbed to find that his new wife has started hanging out with a soybean superhero.

OMG! Tofu man rules, although I have to say that I'm not sure whether I'm with you or with Zach on the cute/scary thing. I just saw a hilarious youtube video that was called Scary Mary Poppins, and it was edited to make the movie look like a horror film, and it works remarkably well! So maybe Tofu man is like that -- depends on your perspective;)

Don't know if you got my birthday greetings either, so Happy Birthday very late if you didn't. I finally caught up on your blog -- I had pleurisy! Not too many people can say THAT, huh? Awesome:)
